Southern Highlands Aircraft Protection & Detailing

Paint protection film, ceramic coating, and detailing for private and charter aircraft — from the studio trusted with the Southern Highlands' finest cars, now caring for aircraft with the same precision.

Aircraft Protection & Detailing

The same precision we bring to cars, now in the air.

Highlands Auto Studio has spent years protecting high-value vehicles with paint protection film, ceramic coating, and precision detailing. We're now bringing that same standard to aircraft — for owners who expect their investment cared for properly, on the ground and in the air.

We work by appointment and referral. If you'd like to talk about your aircraft, get in touch and we'll arrange a time to look it over.

Our Aviation Services

Paint Protection Film for Aeroplanes and Helicopters

Applied to high-wear areas — leading edges, fuselage sections prone to stone chips and debris strikes, and other exposed surfaces — to guard against nicks, scratches, and everyday wear without altering the aircraft's finish.

Ceramic Coating for Aircraft

A hydrophobic, UV-resistant coating that makes contaminants — bugs, exhaust soot, hydraulic fluid, grime — far easier to remove, cuts down wash frequency, and keeps the paint looking sharper for longer.

Window & Canopy Tint

UV and glare reduction for cabin glass and canopies, improving comfort for pilots and passengers on long flights.

Protects interior trims, seating, and instrumentation from sun damage and fading.

Ceramic tint film cuts heat build-up in the cabin without the dark, reflective look of older films, keeping visibility clear.

We also offer UV shift tint for cabin windows — a photochromic film that darkens in daylight for glare and privacy, then clears again at night for full visibility.

Any aviation-specific glazing or lighting regulations are confirmed with the owner/operator before installation.

Helicopter & Aeroplane Detailing

Full interior and exterior detailing, brought up to the same standard as our automotive detailing work.

Exterior detailing covers a thorough wash and decontamination, bug and residue removal from leading edges, cowls, and wheel pants, and paint correction to remove swirl marks, oxidation, and staining before any protective coating goes on.

Interior detailing covers cabin surfaces, seating, carpets, side panels, and trim — cleaned, conditioned, and finished to remove dirt, grime, and general wear from regular use.

Aviation enquiries are handled directly — no online booking, just a conversation about your aircraft.

Built on Trust, Not Transactions

We're not chasing cold leads on this one — aviation work happens through relationships. We're proud to be building ties with the local flying community, including our connection with the aero club, and we'd genuinely rather sit down and talk it through than pitch you online.
